These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Majurun mobile applications, website (https://www.majurun.com), services, and features (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Majurun (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Account
- Minimum age: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital‑consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). If under 18, use requires parent/guardian consent and supervision.
- Accuracy: Provide accurate registration details and keep them updated. Safeguard your credentials; you’re responsible for all activities on your account.
- Account use: Do not sell, transfer, or share your account.
2. Health & Wellness Disclaimer (Non‑Medical)
The Service supports general fitness, running, and workout activities for wellbeing and lifestyle purposes only. It does not provide medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice and is not intended to detect, diagnose, monitor, manage, or treat any disease or condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise program, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or recently unwell. Stop exercising if you feel unwell or experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
Clarifying statement: “This app is intended for general wellbeing or to encourage/maintain a healthy lifestyle and is not intended for any medical purpose. Any health‑related information provided should not be treated as medical advice. Please consult a physician for medical advice.”
3. Acceptable Use & Community Standards
You agree to behave respectfully and lawfully. You must not post, upload, stream, or share content that:
- is illegal; infringes intellectual property; or violates privacy, data protection, or publicity rights;
- is pornographic or sexually explicit; sexualises minors; or solicits sexual services;
- incites violence; promotes self‑harm; or depicts graphic violence or animal cruelty;
- constitutes harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or doxxing (publishing identity/personal data to cause harm);
- promotes vice, organised crime, dangerous or illegal acts, drugs, or deceptive practices;
- contains misleading health or public‑safety claims; or includes others’ personal data/likeness without required permission;
- circumvents moderation tools; interferes with security or operation; or spams other users.
We provide in‑app tools to report content, block users, and control interactions. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations or to comply with law.
4. User‑Generated Content (UGC) & Licences
- Your rights: You retain ownership of content you submit (“UGC”). By submitting UGC, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute UGC to operate and improve the Service and display it to users as allowed by your settings, until you delete it or your account (reasonable backups may persist temporarily).
- Permissions: You warrant you have all rights/permissions (including from people appearing in images/videos) necessary to grant the licence and that your UGC does not infringe third‑party rights.
- Adaptation: You permit non‑derogatory technical adaptations (e.g., transcoding, thumbnails, cropping) for performance and display.
- Feedback: Suggestions/feedback may be used by us without restriction.
5. Copyright & IP Takedown (Notice‑and‑Action)
If you believe UGC infringes your rights, email admin@majurun.com with: (i) identification of the work(s); (ii) URL/ID of the allegedly infringing content and uploader (if known); (iii) your contact details; (iv) a good‑faith statement; and (v) a statement of authority. We will review promptly, remove/disable access where appropriate, and may notify the uploader with counter‑notice options. Repeat infringers may be suspended or terminated.
6. Defamation, Falsehoods & Harassment
Do not post false statements of fact that harm reputation, or harass, threaten, or doxx others. Report abusive content in‑app and/or via admin@majurun.com. We may remove content, restrict accounts, and preserve records for lawful requests. You retain any rights to seek remedies under applicable law.
7. Safety, Moderation & Transparency
- Reporting/blocking: Accessible tools to report content/users and block accounts. We aim to act on valid reports promptly, prioritising content involving minors, sexual exploitation, terrorism, credible threats, or self‑harm.
- Proactive measures: Combination of automated signals and human review to detect harmful content/spam; stronger default protections for teens where applicable.
- Transparency: We may publish summaries of enforcement actions and safety measures.
8. Platform‑Specific Requirements (App Stores)
Before creating/uploading UGC, you must accept these Terms in‑app. The app includes in‑app mechanisms to report content and users, block users, and filter objectionable content. We act on UGC complaints within a reasonable period; severe violations may lead to immediate removal or account suspension. Anonymous random‑chat behaviours and services used primarily for pornographic or abusive content are prohibited; we apply strict measures to prevent such use.
9. Technical Restrictions
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated access except via documented APIs;
- No bypassing security, rate limits, or uploading malware;
- No unauthorised advertising or spam; no metric manipulation; no account sales.
10. Payments, Subscriptions & Trials
- In‑app purchases: Digital content/premium features are billed via Apple App Store or Google Play, per their terms. Prices, currency, taxes, and recurring terms are disclosed before purchase.
- Auto‑renew: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage/cancel in your App Store/Play account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Trials: If offered, you’ll be charged at trial end unless you cancel in time.
- Price transparency: We present clear, upfront pricing and avoid hidden fees.
11. Data Protection (PDPA) & Privacy
We manage personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Key points:
- Purpose & consent: We collect, use, and disclose personal data with consent and for reasonable notified purposes (e.g., account, features, safety, payments, communications). You may withdraw consent, subject to legal/operational consequences.
- Access & correction: You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data.
- Accuracy, protection & retention: We take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy, implement security measures, and retain data only as necessary.
- Overseas transfers: Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we ensure a comparable standard of protection.
- Breach notification: We assess incidents and, where required, notify affected individuals and authorities of notifiable data breaches.

12. Third‑Party Services & Links
Third‑party services (devices, apps, platforms) have their own terms and privacy practices; we are not responsible for their content or services.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes (e.g., in‑app or email). Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance; otherwise, stop using and delete your account.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend/terminate your account with or without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, or as needed to protect users or comply with law. You may terminate by deleting your account. Sections relating to IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution survive termination.
15. Disclaimers
Service “as is”: We provide the Service “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free operation, or the accuracy of metrics (e.g., steps, distance, calories, GPS tracks).
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or similar damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your UGC, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and disputes arising out of them are governed by the laws of Singapore. The Singapore courts have non‑exclusive jurisdiction. By written agreement, disputes may be referred to confidential SIAC arbitration seated in Singapore.
19. Electronic Contracting & Notices
These Terms are concluded electronically. By tapping “I Agree,” checking a box, or otherwise affirmatively indicating consent, you enter a binding contract. We may provide notices electronically (in‑app, email) to your provided contact.
20. App Store Terms
App stores are not a party to these Terms and have no responsibility for the app or its content. You must comply with store terms/policies; in case of conflict, store terms may apply to the extent required by that store.
21. Miscellaneous
- Severability: Unlawful/unenforceable provisions will be modified to the minimum extent necessary; the remainder remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Entire agreement: These Terms and referenced documents are the entire agreement between you and us.

This Privacy Policy explains how Majurun (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile apps and website (collectively, the “Service”). We manage personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Personal Data We Collect
- Account & Profile: email, password hash, display name, profile photo, preferences.
- Content: images, videos, captions, comments, workout posts, and metadata you upload.
- Device & App: device model, OS version, app version, language, diagnostics.
- Location & GPS (optional): GPS traces, pace, distance when you enable tracking.
- Usage: interactions, features used, followers/following, reports and blocks you file.
- Payments: purchase history, product IDs via App Store / Google Play (no full card details).
- Social login: Google/Facebook/Twitter profile basics (if you choose to link).
- Support: messages and attachments you send to us.
2. How We Use Personal Data
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (workouts, mapping, posting, social features).
- Safety & integrity: detect and mitigate spam, abuse, harassment, illegal content, and security incidents.
- Communications: respond to support requests; send service notices; send marketing with consent (opt‑out anytime).
- Analytics and product development, including diagnostics and performance.
- Payments and subscriptions: process purchases via app stores and manage entitlements.
- Legal compliance: comply with laws, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, and protect users.
3. Legal Bases under PDPA
We rely on consent (including deemed consent where applicable), legitimate interests for reasonable purposes (balanced against your interests), and other exceptions permitted by law (e.g., investigations, emergencies). You may withdraw consent at any time; see Section 11.
4. Children & Teens
The Service is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should use the Service under parent/guardian supervision. We apply heightened safeguards for teen accounts where relevant.
5. Disclosures to Third Parties
We share personal data only as needed for the purposes above, including with:
- Service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, moderation, push, email, support) under confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- App stores & payment processors to process purchases and subscriptions;
- Other users based on your settings (e.g., when you post content);
- Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer (with continued protection).
6. International Transfers
Personal data may be stored or processed outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we ensure a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA (e.g., through contractual clauses and vendor due diligence).
7. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to meet legal/business requirements, then delete or anonymise it safely. If you delete your account, we follow the timelines in the Account & Data Deletion Policy.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risks (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). While no method is fully secure, we continually improve protections.
9. Your Rights (PDPA)
- Access: Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of personal data. We will inform you of likely consequences and cease such activities unless permitted/required by law.
Submit requests via in‑app settings or admin@majurun.com. We may need to verify your identity and request clarifications.
10. Marketing Preferences & DNC
We send marketing messages only with consent. You can opt out in‑app or via email footer. If we conduct telemarketing, we comply with PDPA’s Do Not Call provisions.
11. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies/SDKs to enable core functionality (authentication, preferences), analytics, and—where consented—personalised content. You can control permissions via device/app settings.
12. Breach Notification
We assess all suspected data incidents and notify affected individuals and authorities where required by law.

14. Sensitive Permissions & Consent Prompts
We request permissions only when needed and explain the purpose at the point of collection:
- Location (GPS): “Allow Majurun to access your location to track runs, map routes, and attach route maps to posts.”
- Camera & Photos/Videos: “Allow to capture or upload workout photos/videos.”
- Notifications: “Allow to receive workout reminders and safety alerts.”
- Background Location (if enabled): Tracking may continue when the app is not in the foreground; you can disable this in device settings.
15. Access, Correction, and Withdrawal of Consent
Request a data export or corrections via Settings → Privacy or by emailing admin@majurun.com. Identity verification may be required.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in‑app or email). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Account Deletion & Data Deletion Authority
User‑Facing Summary & Internal SOP
A. User‑Facing Deletion Process
- In‑app: Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm.
- By email: Send a request from your registered email to admin@majurun.com with subject “Delete My Account”. We will verify your identity.
- Immediate deactivation: Account access is revoked immediately upon confirmation.
- Deletion timelines:
- Profile, workouts, social graph, UGC: deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
- Backups/DR: purged within 90 days on rolling cycles.
- Legal holds: certain records (e.g., purchase history, fraud logs) retained only as required by law or for dispute resolution, then deleted/anonymised.
- Third‑party caches: Content others saved or re‑uploaded may persist outside our control.
B. Internal Authority & SOP
B1. Roles & Approval
- Data Protection Officer (DPO): Owns policy, approves exceptions, oversees audits (admin@majurun.com).
- Trust & Safety Lead: Executes UGC removals, blocks, escalations for harassment/illegal content.
- Engineering (Backend/Ops): Executes data erasure in primary stores and backups; maintains audit logs.
B2. Intake & Verification
- In‑app deletions use re‑authentication (password/biometric).
- Email requests must come from the registered email; otherwise request further verification.
B3. Execution Steps (SDK‑Aware)
- Mark account
DELETION_PENDING, revoke sessions/tokens, disable notifications. - Delete Firebase Auth user; remove OAuth links (Google/Facebook/Twitter).
- Delete Firestore user document, posts, images/videos, and route data in Firebase Storage; purge CDN caches.
- Reset Firebase Analytics App Instance ID; invalidate FCM token; request Crashlytics deletion or rotate identifiers.
- Remove from indices/search caches; reindex to purge references.
- Log request ID, verifier, timestamps, datasets affected, completion hash.
B4. Timelines & SLAs
- Acknowledge email requests within 5 business days.
- Complete primary deletion within 30 days; backups within 90 days.
- Confirm completion to the user with a summary of deleted/retained items and reasons.
B5. Exceptions & Retention
We may retain limited data where required or permitted by law (e.g., financial records, security logs), or to resolve disputes, enforce Terms, or prevent abuse. Retention is minimised and time‑bound, after which data is deleted or anonymised.
B6. UGC & Safety
For content involving harassment, doxxing, exploitation, or credible threats, Trust & Safety may remove content immediately and preserve evidence required for lawful requests.
B7. Appeals & Complaints
Appeal decisions or lodge privacy complaints with the DPO at admin@majurun.com. Unresolved matters may be raised with the Personal Data Protection Commission (Singapore).

- Trials: None currently; if introduced, charges start at trial end unless cancelled in time.
- Refunds: Per Apple/Google policies; we assist where required by law.
- Transparency: Clear, upfront pricing; no hidden fees.
